6:10 AM: Zzzzzzz…

6:20 AM: Zzzz…!! Okay, okay, Im up! Sheesh, no need to yell. Just for waking me up so abruptly, Im going to whine and paw at the door like Ive been waiting to go outside for hours… mwahahaha…

6:21 AM: *whine* Let me out, let me out, let me out, let me out, let me out, I need to gooooooooooooo!

6:25 AM: Okay, Im done. You can let me back in now. After all, its food time! Whoo! And stop glaring at me, Harry. Youve got your own food bowl right there.

BIBA secures export credits guarantee deal

The British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) has secured an agreement with the Government’s Export Credits Guarantee Department (ECGD) to provide general insurance brokers with access to the ECGD’s export insurance scheme.

The move means that BIBA members can now use the scheme to arrange insurance for UK exporters against non-payment by their overseas buyers.

In addition, BIBA and ECGD have re-worked the wording of the policy so that it can be used to obtain trade finance.

Claim Example: b cell metaplasm (rectal tumor) in Dachshund

In my previous post, I mentioned Maggie, the 2 year oldDachshund, who was treated for a rectal tumor and the fact that she is still alive at age 5 and well enough to have her teeth cleaned.

I thought you might be interested in the details of the cost of her treatment back in 2008.

Thats surgery to remove the mass and 6 months of chemotherapy totalling $8,038.05.

Maggie has not had any claims since these treatments until she recently had her periodontal work done in March 2011.

Maggies policy has a $500 annual deductible, 10% copay and a $10,000 annual maximum and drugs/dental coverage was included. Her premiums have ranged from $21 a month back in 2007 to $32 a month in 2011.
